He was predeceased by: his parents, Oker Clifton and Nellie Johnson Clifton; his daughter Connie Sue Clifton; and his sisters, Rose Marie Young, Hilda Stuart and Nita Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Carol F. Clifton; his children, Eddie Clifton (Gina) of Clayton, Ronda Morton (Patrick) of Moriarty and Dana Stancil (Wade) of Benson; and his grandchildren, Scott Clifton (Brittany), Heather Perrin (Cole), Ashlee Tucker (Jeff), Jaci McNeal (Jourdan), Macy Cross (Michael) and Austin Stancil (Isayana).
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Inc. (301 W Main St, Benson, NC 27504). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Friendship Baptist Church (416 Greenleaf Rd, Angier, NC 27501).
