He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Linwood (W. L. Barefoot) and Linda Medlin Barefoot; and his brother DeWayne Brantley Barefoot. He is survived by: his daughter Lexi Barefoot; his stepmother Gayle Barefoot of Four Oaks; his stepbrother Thomas Wade McMillon (Crystal) of Wilmington; his nephew Ethan McMillon; his aunt Sylvia Stafford (Macon) of Meadow; his uncle H. Glenn Barefoot (Wanda) of Four Oaks; his cousins, Adam Barefoot (Mary Jon), Leanne Daughtry (Kevin), Nathan Stafford (Heather), Brantley Stafford and Ben Stafford; and his close friend Sadie May Barefoot.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Inc. (301 W Main St, Benson, NC 27504). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
