She was predeceased by: her parents, Wyatt Ransom and Bessie Florence McLamb Johnson; her husband David Charles West; and her siblings, Charles Johnson, Grace Byrd, Sarah Johnson, James Johnson, Mary Lou Byrd, Sherrill Johnson, Annie Ruth Blackmon, Billy Ray Johnson, Eugene Johnson and Roy Preston Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Donna West Johnson (Stacy Evans) and Gela Strickland (Bobby); and her grandsons, Cody Johnson (Misty) and Corey Johnson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
