She was predeceased by: her parents, Wyatt Ransom and Bessie Florence McLamb Johnson; her husband David Charles West; and her siblings, Charles Johnson, Grace Byrd, Sarah Johnson, James Johnson, Mary Lou Byrd, Sherrill Johnson, Annie Ruth Blackmon, Billy Ray Johnson, Eugene Johnson and Roy Preston Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Donna West Johnson (Stacy Evans) and Gela Strickland (Bobby); and her grandsons, Cody Johnson (Misty) and Corey Johnson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Inc. (5820 US-301, Four Oaks, NC 27524). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
