Lloyd C. Turnage Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lloyd C. Turnage of Benson, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 24, 2024 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lloyd C. Turnage to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd C. Turnage and Viola Mae Blackmon Turnage; his wife Margie S. Turnage; and his siblings, J. W. Turnage, Larry Turnage, Floyd L. Turnage, Kenneth Turnage, Danny Turnage and Janice Wood.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Turnage of Dunn, NC, Rayford Turnage (Elaine) of Dunn, Timmy Turnage (Kathy) of Dunn and Mark Turnage (Sherrie) of Benson; his foster son Donnie Mac Bass; and his sisters, Glenda Jackson of Benson, Patricia Stanley (Leo) of Four Oaks and Carolyn Allen of Four Oaks. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Dunn Funeral Home (208 W Main St, Benson, NC 27504). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
