He was predeceased by: his parents, James Felton and Vada Norris Jackson; and his siblings, Garland Jackson, Tommy Jackson, Billy Jackson, Clifton Jackson, Michael Jackson and Helen Jackson Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Ferguson Jackson; his children, Randy Jackson (Heidi) of Benson and Lisa Griffin (Sam) of Texas; his grandchildren, Kaitlin Raynor (Luke), Blake Griffin (Nicole) and Courtney Carrera (Victor); his great grandchildren, Bentley Raynor, Laney Raynor, Kaydence Carrera, Kenize Carrera, Skylar Griffin and Jetson Griffin; and his siblings, Phyllis Champion of Coats, Lula Norris (Danny) of Coats and Robert Jackson (Vivian). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
