He is survived by: his mother Faye Dawson Parker; his son Shane Pierson Parker of Benson; his siblings, Charles Gary Parker (Leslie) of Hanover, Maryland and Pamela Parker Martin (Emmett) of Benson; and his nieces and nephews, Christopher Byrd (Cassie) of Duffield, Restyn Martin of Benson, NC, Ashley Barbour Hoempler (Christian) of Aberdeen, NC, Tracy Parker Hudson (Wesley) of Clayton, NC, Tarah Parker Alexander (Terry) of La Vista, NE and Adrienne Rieken-Cote (Timothy) of Severn, Maryland.. He is also survived by eight great-nephews and one great-niece.
