She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie B. McLamb and Susie Ellen Young McLamb; her husband Clarence A. Wood; her daughter Rose Marie Wood; her stepfather Wiley Nathan McLamb; and her siblings, Vida Ellen McLamb, Ira D. McLamb and J. C. McLamb.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Wood (Donna), Gail McLamb (Larry) and Ronnie Wood (Lynn); her son-in-law Danny G. Wood; her grandchildren, Sammy Wood (Dora Lynn), Todd Wood, Jeremy Davis (Talena), Kasie Lee (James), Patrick Wood (Misti) and Luke Wood (Morgan Lassiter); her great grandchildren, Nolan Wood, Tyler Wood, Carter Davis, Conner Wood, Ross Wood, Jenna Lee, Owen Lee, Preston Wood and Grayden Wood; and her sister Linda Hayes. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Inc. (301 W Main St, Benson, NC 27504). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church (1771 NC-50, Benson, NC 27504).
