She was predeceased by: her parents, Wiley Festus and Lessie Mae Lee West; her husband Wayne L. Tart; her son Tony Wayne Tart; her daughter-in-law Melody; her daughter Wanda Lou Tart; and her siblings, Melba Pleasant, Mildred West, Warren West, Charles West, Sherrill West and Maxie West.
She is survived by: her children, Denise Tart Massengill (Danny) of Four Oaks, Tracy Lynn Tart of Benson and Tonya Tart-Ellis (Anthony) of Benson; her grandchildren, Shane Guin, Lori Beth McCray (Erik), Eric Lynn Tart and Alexander Powell; her great grandchildren, Tyler Johnson and Parker McCray; her siblings, Katie Parker of Winston-Salem and Junior C. West of Rocky Point; her sisters-in-law, Shelby Raynor (J. F.) of Virginia, Rebecca Tart of Benson and Jackie Tart of Sanford; her close friend Troy Bolton of Lillington; and her pet Roxy Lou. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
