She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Felton and Annie Finison Purvis; and her siblings, Virginia Mae Maness, Caroline Bouldin (Sam), Mary Ruth Williams (Roland), Ray Purvis (Wilma Jean), Dewitt Purvis (Sylvia) and Charles.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Lindell Murray; her children, Tim Murray (Jill) of Asheboro and Emily Murray Collins (Chris) of Bennett; her grandchildren, Victoria, Lauren Collins and Camden Murray; her sister Juanita Kidd (Robert) of Robbins; and her brother-in-law L. H. "Budd" Maness of Robbins. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
