He is survived by: his wife Ann Bennett Powers; his children, Deirdre Powers "DeeDee" Dean of Bennett and Joseph Lundy Powers of Juneau; his sisters, Kay Simpson of Carthage and Joyce Powers-Bissette of Bennett; and his grandchildren, Catherine Powers, Cassie-Anna Dean, Caroline Powers, Trinity Dean, Lydia Powers, Brianna Powers and Phillip Dean.
