He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Burns and Wilma Epperson Allen; his brother Samuel Leslie Allen; and his niece Joanna Delta Allen. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Smyre Allen; his children, Billy Joe Allen (Sara), Tommy Lee Allen (Kimberly), Rhonda Allen McCanless (Eck) and Jennifer Nicole Allen Carter (Chris); his siblings, Tim Allen (Pam), Millie Cannon and Sandra Allen-Bulla; his grandchildren, Levon, Jonas McCanless, Garrett, Harlow and Clark Allen; and his nephew Jake Smith.
