He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Myrtle Lee Garner and Henry Roe Cheek; his wife Barbara Ann Cheek; his children, Julia Cheek Tripp (Garland), Pittsboro, Danny Ray Cheek (Amy Dixon Cheek) of Bennett and Garrett Roe Cheek (Stacy Carraway Cheek) of Bear Creek; and his sisters, Irene Cheek Davis of Seagrove, Clara Mae Cheek Lucas (Darrell) of Asheboro and Ruby Cheek Moore (Eugene) of Sanford. He was also cherished by his children and grandchildren and especially adored his wife.
