He was predeceased by: his children, Marie Beck McMasters and Donald Beck; his parents, Robert Beck and Bertha Ritter Beck; and his siblings, Mildred Garner, Jimmy Beck, William Beck and Jack Beck.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Beck; his daughter Carol Beck Lawson (Wayne) of Ramseur; his brother Mack Beck of Robbins; and his grandchildren, Sherrie Phillips, Emily Smith, Susan Ferguson, Phil Lawson and Kim Garner. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren.
