He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Allison and Blanche Wall Allison; and his siblings, Marie Poole, Jane King, Ann Byrd, Lee Grant Allison and Ervin Allison.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Kaye Cheek Allison; his sons, Justin Allison and Andrew Allison; and his brother Fred Allison of Durham.
