He was predeceased by: his parents, Emily Caspillian and Marcelino Evangelista. He is survived by: his wife Mae Garner Evangelista; his children, Chasidty Evangelista-Mackison (Peter) of Barcelona, Spain and Shawn Evangelista of Bennett; his siblings, Mila Gross Guevara of Hamlet, NC and Ely Evangelista of California; his grandchildren, Dawson, Madeline, Brayleigh and Jett; and his great grandchild Baylynn.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Joyce-Brady Chapel (3833 Chatham St, Bennett, NC 27208). A graveside service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Beulah Baptist Church (8454 Howard Mill Rd, Bennett, NC 27208).
