He was predeceased by: his sons, Billy Darrell Leonard and William Brian Leonard; and his parents, Sam Leonard and Ruby Brady Leonard. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Leonard; his daughters, Kathy Houghton of Advance and Laura Grubbs (Matthew) of Franklinville; his siblings, Becky Ritter of Ramseur, Reciel Leonard (Phyllis) of Asheboro and Ted Leonard (Jane) of Asheboro; and his grandchildren, Jonathon C. Houghton, Will Grubbs and SarahBeth Grubbs.
