It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Zane Maupin Sr. (Belvidere, North Carolina), who passed away on February 26, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gwendell Zane Maupin and Thelma Elizabeth Stewart Maupin; and his sister Jeanne Sue Humston (late Wayne). He is survived by: his wife Karen Paris Maupin; his children, April Maupin Godwin (Mark) of Ahoskie, Ronald Zane Maupin, Jr. (Tiffany) of Tyner and Aaron Dean Maupin (Amanda) of Hertford; his brother Alan Wendell Maupin (Gloria) of Mount Washington, KY; and his grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Kristen, Shara, Carmen, Ephrim, Walker and Gwendolyn. He is also survived by aunt, an uncle, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
