He was predeceased by: his parents, Garland Joseph and Mary Elizabeth Cartwright Bunch; his sister Carolyn Ferguson; and his grandson Brian Christopher Chappell. He is survived by: his children, Kristy Melton (Kevin) of Belvidere, Ashley Bradley of Hertford and Marty "Kix" Bunch (Crystal) of Tyner; his siblings, Gloria Roth of Huntsville, AL, Marietta Wright of Decatur, AL, Teresa Blizard of Decatur, AL and Garland Jospeh "Big Joey" Bunch of Moyock; his grandchildren, Hailey Chappell, Brent Melton, Jayden Spence, Julianna Bradley and Natalie Bunch; his stepgrandson Brandon Melton; and his close friend Shawn Whidbee (Theria).
