It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edwin Parks (Belvidere, North Carolina), born in Gates, North Carolina, who passed away on December 3, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl F. Parks and Stella White Parks; and his sister Earline. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Winslow Parks; his daughters, Jennie Parks Upton of Hertford, Vevlyn Parks Lowe (John) of Clinton and April Parks Millsap (Justin) of Quantico, VA; his brother Vandy "Bud" Parks of Hobbsville; his grandchildren, Tiffani Boyce (Jonathan), Garth Upton, Carter Lowe, Jackson Lowe and Gracyn Millsap; and his great grandchildren, Brayden and Tanner Boyce.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Piney Woods Friends Meeting, the Winfall Volunteer Fire Department, or to the Edenton Farmers Market.
