He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethelbert B. Temple and Pearl Jennings Temple; and his brother Ellis E. Temple, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Dennis Temple, Jr. (Angel Swain) of Edenton, NC, Timothy Ciccarelli (Banita) of Elizabeth City, NC and Lisa Temple (John Miller) of Belvidere, NC; his grandsons, Caden Thomas and Jaxson Lee Miller; and his siblings, Jerry Temple (Christine) of Warren, TX and Wannetta Strong (Thomas Speight) of Hertford, NC. He is also survived by one niece; and seven nephews.
