She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Van Roach and Audrey Stallings Roach; and her husbands, Alton Ray Harris and William Ellis Winslow. She is survived by: her children, Mitchell Van Harris (Vickie) of Belvidere, Leah Harris Rucker (Charles) of Greensboro and Sarah Winslow (David Stradley) of Raleigh; her brother Vick Roach (Ann) of Elizabeth City; her grandchildren, Bo Harris (Sherri) of Gilbert, AZ, Stefanie Lee (Tony) of Raleigh, Sarah Catherine of Raleigh and Rachel Elizabeth Stradley of Raleigh; and her great grandchildren, Max, Ace Harris, Aubree and Brody Lee.
With the resurgence in the area of the Covid-19 virus, no formal visitation is planned; however, friends are invited to visit with the family immediately following the service.
