He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter C. Tomlinson, Sr. and Melissa Reece Tomlinson; and his sisters, Bertha Mae Poindexter, Mattie White Tomlinson, Mary Ruth Marler and Helen Gray Snow.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Goodrum Tomlinson; his children, David Lewis Tomlinson, Walter "Barry" Tomlinson and Nancy T. Smith (Russell); and his grandchildren, Micaela Smith (John Spicek), Piper Chase Tomlinson, Colby Reed Tomlinson and Willow Grace Tomlinson.
