It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Doris Fields of Belmont, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on March 6, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hinkle Rayfield, Sr. and Susan Barbara Allen RayfieldVirginia; her husband Robert P. Fields; and her sister Margaret "Doodle" Fourshee. She is survived by: her siblings, Inez Black, Robin Wells, Rev. Hinkle Rayfield and Timothy "Timmy" Rayfield; her grandchildren, Haley Dawn Fields and Kinley Todd Morrison (Ryan); and her great grandchildren, Hazel Todd Morrison and Scarlett Ryan Morrison.
