He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Baucom and Leola Baucom; his wife Brenda Tallent Baucom; his grandson Tyler Grahl; and his siblings, Daniel Baucom, Jr., Ann Baucom Pence, Warren Baucom, Gretchen Nevison, Leliah Hanline, Paul Baucom, Samuel Baucom and Ruth Baucom.
He is survived by: his children, Clinton Baucom (Michelle) and Michelle Langford (Mike); his grandchildren, Zachary Medlin, Joshua Medlin (Ramsey), Wesley Baucom (Kayla), Shannon Langford and Charles Langford; and his sister Alice Counts.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society of Gaston County, American Lung Association or Grace Baptist Church Youth.
