With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra Irene Blanton of Belmont, North Carolina, born in Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away on August 28, 2023 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Jean Cearley (Shires) and Jack Cearley; her husband Howard Blanton; her niece Jessie Mincey; and her sister-in-law Rachel Spain.
She is survived by: her siblings, Gaye Alexander (Jim) of Gordonsville, TN, Susan Henderson (Phil) of Townville, SC and Jack Cearley (Alice) of Mount Holly, NC; and her siblings-in-law, Kathie Brown (Robert) of Mount Holly, NC, Joseph Blanton (Evelyn), J. L. Blanton (Barbara) of Belmont and Johnny Spain of Belmont. She is also survived by her family, her church, her friends and neighbors.
