He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel L. Buchanan and Eunice Holcomb Buchanan; and his siblings, Jimmy Ray Buchanan and Ruby B. Self. He is survived by: his wife Betty Stewart Buchanan; his children, Gary Buchanan (Teresa), Libby Hass (Mike) and Melinda Wilson; his granddaughters, Martha Wilson and Caitlin Wilson; and his great grandchild Ava Douglas. He is also survived by 3 nephews; and 3 nieces.
