He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Marshall Annas and Alice Pennell Annas; and his siblings, Lois A. Hoyle, Judy A. Barlow, Sandy A. Summerlin, Jan A. Ledford, Sherrill "Bud" Annas, John "Jerry" Annas, Kenneth Annas and Neil Annas.
He is survived by: his wife Caroline Nichols Annas; his daughter Kristi Annas Hilliard; his son-in-law Todd Hilliard; his grandchildren, Jaelin Hilliard of Concord, NC., Kyah Hilliard of Concord, NC. and Ash Hilliard of Concord, NC.; his siblings, Ruthie Gragg and Roger Annas (Linda); and his siblings-in-law, Martha West (Dennis), Mary Seagle (Earl), Donna Annas, Clarence "Nick" Nichols (Robin), David Nichols, Richard Barlow and Eddie Summerlin.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Oakwood Presbyterian Church (3665 Deerbrook Rd, Lenoir, NC 28645).
