With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melvin Oscar Parent Jr. (Belmont, North Carolina), who passed away on August 17, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Melvin departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Melvin. Though Melvin may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin and Marguerite; and his sisters, Mary Ann Parent and Denise Parent Buckles (Michael). He is survived by: his wife Stephanie; and his brother Ronald (Lynnelle). He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
