With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mable Mercer Pittman (Belmont, North Carolina), who passed away on January 26, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William W. Mercer and Alice Mosley Mercer; her husband Boyd Calvin Pittman; and her siblings, Ernest, Reverend Foy Mercer, Dottie Benoy and Lorene Stamey.
She is survived by: her family Mable; her children, Don Pittman (Janet) of Fuquay-Varina, N. C., Brad Pittman (Angela) of Belmont, N. C. and Vicki Caldwell (Fred) of Cramerton, N. C; her grandchildren, Kristi MacLaren (Nathan Hamm), April McKinley (Martin), Erik Pittman (Jennifer), Amber Barnes (Greg), Cadie Nelson (Wesley) and Davis Pittman; and her siblings, Bill Mercer (Jeannie) and Nadine Pressley. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
