He was predeceased by: his parents, Hillard Mason and Ida Lou Gaddis Ferguson; and his grandson Chad Denton. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Mae Queen Ferguson of Belmont, NC; his daughters, Jenny Ferguson McCuen (David) and Donna Ferguson Denton (Jerry); his granddaughter Amy Duguid (John) of Charlotte, NC; his sons-in-law, Stacy McCuen of Gastonia, NC and Jordan Hayes (Steve) of Charlotte, NC; his great grandchildren, Cailey and Gavin Duguid; his grandchildren, Ella, Gabriel, Madelyn, Lillian Hayes and Ava Denton; and his sister-in-law Betty Queen Willis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
