He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Maiebelle Thompson Estes and George L. Estes; his former wife Deborah "Debbie" Roddy Estes; and his stepson Wayne Freeman. He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Fitzpatrick (Jeff); and his stepdaughter Molly Rice (Adrian).
