It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Kempton Kelly of Belmont, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on August 2, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy William Kelly and Margaret Kempton Kelly; his sister Marty; and his brother-in-law Randy Bryant. He is survived by: his wife Susan Montgomery Kelly; his siblings, Roy Kelly, Jr. (Annabell) and Ann Robinson (Randy); his children, Elizabeth Roberts (Stephen), Jacob Kelly, Becky Kelly and Rachel Kelly; his stepchildren, Lindsey and William Pruitt; his grandchildren, Mack and Callie Roberts; and his pet Daisy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the charity of choice.
