She was predeceased by: her parents, Steven Miller and Clara Frazier Miller; her husband Jones Marcus Simpson; her son Scott Simpson; and her brothers, Steven Miller, Vincent Miller and Dean Miller.
She is survived by: her sons, Dean Simpson (Teri) of Perry, GA and Douglas Simpson; her daughter-in-law Lynda Simpson of Belmont, NC; and her sister Norma Ackerman (Ray). She is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
