It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Barrow (Belhaven, North Carolina), who passed away on September 17, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Barrow and Christabell Barrow; his son Johnny Barrow; and his siblings, Virgil Barrow, Jr, Zacharia Barrow, Arlease Spencer, Naomi Selby, Ella Mae Blount and Ida Ruth Barrow.
He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara JeanBarrow of Belhaven, NC and Carolyn Hawkins of South Carolina; his sisters, Della Mae Spencer of Belhaven, NC and Shirley Hughie (Harry) of Ridgeland, SC.; and his nieces, Jackie, Diane and Elva. He is also survived by four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one great- great grandchild, several other children.
