He is survived by: his mother Catherine Daniels Fulford; his wife Amy Sue Keel Fulford; his children, Taylor Fulford (Bryant Rossil) of Durham, Sarah Fulford of Belhaven and Steven Neal Fulford, Jr. of Durham; and his siblings, Robert Staley Fulford, Jr. (Ruby) of Belhaven and Benita Lagcher (Herman) of Pinetown.
