It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Raleigh Keech of Belhaven, North Carolina, who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raleigh Oliver Keech and Edith Windley Keech. He is survived by: his wife Gay Hodges Keech; his children, Chad Keech (Melissa) of Pantego, Samantha Hudnell (Michael) of Belhaven and Ilce Alligood (Lewis) of Washington; his sister Margaret Patras of Virginia Beach, VA; his grandchildren, Zack Keech, Caden Keech, Nick Windley, Piper Hudnell, Willa Hudnell, Kai Alligood and Ariel Alligood; and his great grandchild Molly Keech.
