We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2020, at the age of 90, Lucille C. Evans (Belhaven, North Carolina), born in Beaufort, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Modie Lafayette Chauncey and Beulah Brooks Chauncey; and her husband Thurman Martin Evans. She is survived by: her children, Yvonne Evans DeRuiz of Belhaven, Martin Evans (Carol) of Swan Quarter and Faye Gent (Jim) of Belhaven; her sisters, Inez King of Bandera, TX and Lib Eldridge of Belhaven; and her grandchildren, Brian James of Seattle, WA, Marty Evans (Kristin) of Ayden and Dane Evans of Swan Quarter. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
