With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene W. Tolan of Belhaven, North Carolina, who passed away on December 10, 2023 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Frances, Ellen, Harvey and James. She is survived by: her husband Delma Tolan; her sons, Del Tolan (Mary) and Duane Tolan (Janet); and her grandsons, Rosser Tolan (Kara) and Charles Tolan. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Smithton, 2951 Seed Tick Neck Road, Pinetown, NC 27865.
