Blackburn (Belhaven, North Carolina), born in Tazewell, Virginia, who passed away on August 17, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Blackburn and Amelia Alley Blackburn; his wife Katherine Gladys Nunley; his son Ray Blackburn; and his siblings, Nettie Hackett, Ellen Rector, David, Roger and Ed Blackburn.
He is survived by: his children, Shirley B. Stinson of Tazewell, VA, Kathy Boyd of Pantego, Drema Moore of Bath, Frances Wilkins of Smith Shores, Lee Blackburn of Burks Garden, VA, Jerry Blackburn of Tazewell, VA, John Blackburn of Pantego, Ricky Blackburn of Bath and Jody Howery of Bath; and his brothers, Howard Blackburn of Haymarket, VA and Cecil Blackburn of Haymarket, VA. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
