He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd McLean Carroll and Mildred Louise Ramsey Carroll; and his brother Glenn Carroll. He is survived by: his spouse Sylvia Jean Carpenter; his children, Melissa Carroll Willis (Bobby) of Cove City, Shaun McLean Carroll and Fiancée Meressa Winfield of Washington; his stepchildren, Lisa Strickland (Tony) of Apex, Johnny Michael Bradley (Lisa) of Gaston and Shannon Danielle Bradley (Jason) of Roanoke Rapids; and his sisters, Virginia Morton (Randy) of Virginia, Vickie Spivey (Walter) of Greenville and Kathy Harris (William) of Washington. He is also survived by grandchildren; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
