He was predeceased by: his parents, Leaven Thomas Lawson and Helen Lawson Potter; and his siblings, Lisa Kriner, Sheila Hilton, Wayne Lawson and Matthew Hilton.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Lawson; and his siblings, Erica Lawson of Washington, NC, Bruce Kriner of Biloxi, Mississippi and William Hilton of Burlington, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
