She was predeceased by: her parents, Wiley Ralph Edwards and Johnnie Mae Squires Edwards; her siblings, John R Edwards and Marion E. Medlock; her son-in-law Thomas Keith Ditto; and her brothers-in-law, Richard Pugh, Sr. and Bruce Hill.
She is survived by: her children, Wendy Nixon Ditto of Belhaven, Gregory E. Nixon of Belhaven, Robbie D. Nixon of Belhaven and Bobby W. Nixon (Carla) of Washington; her siblings, Ricky D. Edwards (Loretta) of Mount Olive and Carol E. Hill of Murfreesboro; her siblings-in-law, Doug Medlock of Easley, SC and Linda Edwards; and her grandchildren, Chris Lewellen (Christina), Brad, Jenna, Ashley, Robin, Regan, Timmy, Breanna Nixon, Chris Hudson, Brandon Hudson and Kevin Clark. She is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren.
