He was predeceased by: his wife Audrey Faye Neal Alexander; and his siblings, Dora Hanks, Nancy Jones, Ann King and Abner Alexander.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Walsh (Brent) and James Alexander (Ashley); his grandchildren, Lauren Olive (Taylor), Alexander Walsh (Emily), James Alexander, Jr. and Neal Alexander; and his great grandchildren, Alexis Olive, Mackenzie Olive, Raegan Olive and Owen Olive. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
