He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Bittmann (Duchneskie) and Henry Bittmann; his brother Emory Bittmann; and his daughter Amy Suzanne Bittmann. He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice Bittmann (Young); his daughters, Kimberly Olson, Kelly Olson Seward (Michael) and Jackie Presson (Don); his close friend Bill Jr. (Grace Yen); his sisters, Maryann Shoemaker, Karin Gulizio and Nancy Wade; and his grandchildren, Jacob, Luke Benson, Max and Matti Presson.
He frequently donated his services to the Adventure Aquarium to catch various reef fish along with Sand Tiger Sharks for their exhibits.
