He was predeceased by: his parents, John Monahan and Marie Monahan; his former wife Juanita A. Monahan; and his sister Patricia Lockwood. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Bette" Monahan; his children, Joyce Beaudoin (John) and Michael Monahan (Lisa) of Blairsville, Georgia; his grandchildren, Matthew Monahan, Genevieve Stevenson, Lt. William Huff (Army), Nina Huff of Emily Henrich, C. J and Anneliese Henrich; and his great grandchildren, Celeste Stevenson and Fox Monahan.
