It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Joe Dean of Beaufort, North Carolina, born in Durham, North Carolina, who passed away on March 14, 2024, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Collins Dean; his parents, Margie Shutt Dean and Lonnie N. Dean Sr.; his brothers, Lonnie N. Dean Jr. and Garry Wayne Dean; his grandson Logan Stephenson; and his sister-in-law Kerry C. Floyd.
He is survived by: his children, Walter Joe Dean Jr. "Jake" and Amanda Lynn Lamberson; his grandchildren, Tyler Stephenson of Otway and Khloe Lamberson of Otway; and his uncle Joe. He is also survived by nephews and 25 great nieces and nephews.
