It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vivian Christine McGowan of Beaufort, North Carolina, born in Roanoke, Virginia, who passed away on February 21, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Roupe and Velma Blevins Roupe; and her husband Richard McGowan (Dick). She is survived by: her daughters, Autumn Smith Brown (Dan) and Stephanie Smith Hevener (Trent); her grandson Forrest Logan Hevener; her close friend Gabby; and her friends, Linda Gochenour Smithson (Ralph) and Virginia Joyce Miller Keith (Don).
