As Tom departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Tom. Though Tom may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Dean and Elizabeth Dean; his brother Steve; and his former wife Barbara Burk. He is survived by: his wife Melinda Dean of Beaufort; his daughters, Cathi Dean (Chris Tankersley) of Greenville and Patti Lewis (Michael) of New Bern; and his grandchildren, Casey Wilcox, Evan Eadus, Magick Lewis and Michael Lewis Jr..
