It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sterling McCarthy of Beaufort, North Carolina, who passed away on February 2, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Hazel Allison; his stepfather Bob Allison; and his father Charles McCarthy. He is survived by: his wife Gayla McCarthy of Beaufort; his son Paul McCarthy (Sharon) of Morehead City; his grandson Fisher McCarthy of Morehead City; and his brother Charles McCarthy (Brenda) of Morehead City. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
