He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Luther Eubanks and Ruth Hardy Eubanks; his wife Patricia Rogers Eubanks; his son Ralph "Rafe" Eubanks Jr.; his sister Mabel Courtney of New Bern, NC.; his niece Burnice Stilley; his grandchildren, Heather Craig of Midway, Kentucky., Nicholas Craig of Midway, Kentucky. and Parker Craig of Midway, Kentucky.; and his stepgranddaughters, Katie Miller and Kathy Catino. He was also cherished by many other nieces, nephews, and extended family.
His HAM radio rig was beside his hospice bed comforting him despite being unable to use it due to his onset of Alzheimer's disease.
